Blogmas Wrap-Up! (Blogmas Day #25)

Freitag, 25. Dezember 2015

   Welcome to Blogmas day 25!
Today is the last day of this years blogmas. I can barely believe that the 25 days passed so fast, and that it's already Christmas, 2016 approaching quickly. When I announced that I would be doing blogmas this year I was sure I wouldn't be able to do it, since I'd never posted that much in a month before. But, now as we have the final day, I can honestly say that it was just so much fun! I definitely want to try and do it again next year. I hope you had just as much fun as I had.
Now, below, you will find a complete list of all the posts I've made for blogmas. Look back at all the fun posts and catch up on some if you missed any. Thank you so much for reading all my words every day and with it giving me the motivation to keep up the work. Honestly, some of these posts took me way more time then I ever thought bloggers would put into a post. I enjoy all of this immensely, more then I ever thought I would, and I'm very glad I decided to create this post years ago.
Enough of the blabbing, since I'm sure there will be another inspirational/emotional post toward the end of the year. Finally, here is the list of all my Blogmas 2015 posts:

December Wrap Up

Freitag, 2. Januar 2015

   Hey guys!
December is gone and I must admit it was yet another not very reading heavy month for me. I don't even understand why. I got so many books yet I couldn't really get myself to sit down and just read. But then again there was Christmas and New Year's Eve and all that fun stuff you spend with your family and friends, rather than with a book.
Book of the Month is definitely The Martian by Andy Weir because it was just such a different and unique read unlike anything I have ever read before.

Books read:
  • Killing Sarai by J.D. Redmerski [5 Stars]
  • Zeznania Niekrytego Krytyka by Maciej Faczyk [5 Stars]
  • The Martian by Andy Weir [5 Pirate-Ninjas]
Books acquired:
  • Zeznania Kiekrytego Krytyka by Maciej Fraczyk
  • Let It Snow by John Green, Lauren Miracle and Maureen Johnson [Polish edition]
  • Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi
  • The Clockwork Scarab by Colleen Gleason
  • Sins & Needles by Karina Halle
  • There is no Light in Darkness by Claire Contreras
  • Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
  • The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin [Hardcover]
  • Make up: Your Life Guide to Beauty, Style and Success Online and Offline by Michelle Phan
  • The Martian by Andy Weir
  • My True Love Gave To Me by 12 Authors
  • The Aftermath by Jen Alexander
  • Lovely, Deep and Dark by Amy McNamara
  • Across the Universe by Beth Revis
  • Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover
  • The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons
~ In Progress ~
  • The Aftermath by Jen Alexander [42%]
And that is it. These are all the books I read and acquired in the last month of 2014. For 2015 I am hoping to read at least 55 books, simply because I managed 58 this year while having way less time then I will have in 2015 (probably). I hope to read more diverse books and break out of my usual reading comfort zone. Pick up more fantasy and also many something from the historical fiction genre. Let's be brave!

Cheerio and have a good one!

    November Wrap Up

    Mittwoch, 3. Dezember 2014

       Hey guys!
November is done and so is NaNoWriMo. Let's start with that, shall we? I, just as last year, participated in NaNoWriMo which is also why I haven't been too active on here and on my YouTube during November. I dedicated most of my time to writing and winning, which I ended up doing a week or so early. My finishing word count was 65k words but since then I added a few more so I ended up with a first draft with a length of 67k words. Now I have to go into revision and sometime in the near future it'll again be quary time.
When it comes to reading I didn't get too much of that done, only two books and two mangas. Not my best result but I guess it's still better than nothing, right?
This month the Book of the Month and Most Anticipated are one and the same as it is The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin. As you guys know I love that trilogy and I've been dying to read it. And I did. And I loved it. I also wrote a review for it, which you can find by clicking on the title in the list below.

       Books read:
       Books acquired:
    • The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
    • A Thousnand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray
    • God's Buried Children by Daniel Farcas
    • Partials by Dan Wells
    • Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
    • Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: 1 by Naoko Takeuchi
    • Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: 2 by Naoko Takeuchi
    • The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon
    • Hunting Lila by Sarah Alderson
    • Unspoken by Sarah Rees Brennan
    • The Fox Inheritance by Mary E. Pearson
    • Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi
    • Angelfall by Susan Ee
    • Balzhar by M Wolitzer
       ~ In Process ~
    • Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi (24%)
    • God's Buried Children by Daniel Farcas (80%)
    • A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray (9%)
    • The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson (61%)
    • and way too many more...
For the Month of December I am hoping to read a few more books, though I have quite a few things planned and there also is the fact that I need to revise my NaNoWriMo novel, but I will still try my best to get some reading done.
And that's it for this little post and update.

       Cheerio!

    September Wrap Up

    Mittwoch, 1. Oktober 2014

       Hey guys!
September is over and here is my Wrap Up, followed by my October TBR and September Book Haul. To be honest, September wasn't the most successful reading month for me. I ended up only reading 3 books yet I bought so many new ones it's unbelievable!
My Book of the Month September definitely is HIM: His Infernal Majesty by Reinhardt Haydn simply because I love the band HIM and I love this book.
My Most Anticipated Read of September is The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancey, because The 5th Wave was an amazing book so I was super happy to finally be able to read the sequel.

       Books read:

         Books acquired:
      • Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
      • Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas
      • Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas
      • The Assasine's Blade by Sarah J. Maas
      • The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancey
      • The 100 by Kass Morgan [NetGalley]
      • Day 21 by Kass Morgan [NetGalley]
      • Candy by Kavin Brooks
      • Beastly by Alex Flinn
      • Unearthly by Cynthia Hand
      • Darlah by Johan Harstad [4 Stars]
      • Boot Camp by Todd Strasser
      • Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling
      • The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan
      • The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson
      • Not a Drop to Drink by Mindy McGinnis
      • HIM: His Infernam Majesty by Reinhardt Haydn

           ~ In Process ~
        • Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas (22%)
        • HIM: His Infernal Majesty by Reinhardt Haydn (30%)
        • My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick (28%)

And that is all from me. I fairly hope I'll be able to stick to my TBR for October and maybe get a little more reading done, at least more than 3 books, like seriously.

           Cheerio!
