  • Anna and French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins [5 Stars]
  • Die for Me by Amy Plum [3 Stars]
  • Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins [1 Star]
  • Faking Normal by Courtney C. Stevens  [5 Stars]
  • My soul to Lose by Rachel Vincent [3.5 Stars]
  • Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins [3.5 Stars]

    Books acquired:
  • None
    ~ In Progress ~
  • My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick
  • Isola by Isabel Albedi
  • The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa
  • The Merciless by Danielle Vega
  • Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout
  • Killing Sarai by J.A. Redmerski
Next month two books will finally come out that I've been dying to read, so that is pretty awesome. And also I've actually decided to film a September TBR video, which you can see here:

And that's it for this post. Sorry that it's not as long as my usual Wrap Up's.

   Cheerio!

    July Wrap Up

    Sonntag, 3. August 2014

So July kinda sucked in terms of reading. I mean, I only managed to read one book throughout an entire month! I don't even know how that just happened. I was doing a lot throughout July, which meant that I didn't have much time to read - like almost none at all.
I've been trying to read Isola by Isabel Albedi, which is a book in German, as I wanted to get back into reading books in German a little more, but ... we'll that somehow isn't happening. I used to only read in German and now I don't seem to be able to do it anymore. Somehow the language causes me to have extreme problems with getting into a story and that sucks. But, I won't give up and maybe I'll manage to finish it in August.
Besides that, I'm reading like 30 pages of These Broken Stars every evening before sleeping, because that is the only time I get to read and I would love to read more because the book is awesome, but I'm just too tired. I also didn't get much writing done in July, despite winning Camp NaNoWriNo. But, I'm only like 2 chapters away from finishing We the Hunters, the sequel to Into the Unknown, which is really exciting. So, there is a chance I might get it done and ready for you buys before this year is over. Wouldn't that be awesome?
Because I didn't get much reading done in July, I don't have any books that I could put up as Book of the Month. As Most Anticipated Read I would say Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins, which I have heard none but great things from literally everybody, so I want to get to reading that one after I'm done with These Broken Stars.
    Most Anticipated Read:
Anna and the French Kiss, despite
    the title which would normally
cause me to avoid this book by
    all means possible.

    Books read:
    •  Ereased by Margaret Chatwin [5 Stars]
    Boocks acquired:
    • Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
    • Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
    • Isola by Isabel Albedi
    • These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner
    • Soul Screamers: Volume One by Rachel Vincent
    • Die For Me by Amy Plum
    • Soul Beach by Kate Harrison
    • The DUFF by Kody Keplinger
    • Beauty Queens by Libba Bray
    • Faking Normal by Courtney C. Stevens
    • Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins
    • Burn for Burn by Jenny Han & Siobhan Vivian
    • The Giver by Lois Lowry
    ~ In Progress ~
    • Isola by Isabel Albedi
    • These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner
    • The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa
    • The Merciless by Danielle Vega
    • Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout
    • Killing Sarai by J.A. Redmerski
Anyway, this is it for my Wrap Up. I hope to get back into the reading game throughout August, especially because there are just too many awesome books out there that demand to be read.
And that is all for my July Wrap Up!

       Cheers!
